We are committed to limiting our environmental & social impact on this planet by following sustainable principles that reflect our core values. We advocate for underrepresented & historically suppressed groups, environmental justice, animal welfare, and social integrity.

Having core values helps us stay accountable and filter in what’s allowed (and now allowed) inside our business ecosystem. Throughout every part of our process, from the online tools we use to the clients we onboard, we aim to reflect our core values from the inside out.

If your are wondering how I got here – how I write words that help conscious brands build and grow their business – I could ask myself the same thing. So I did.

“How did I get here?”

After working the odd corporate job trying to convince myself that I could live the “normal” American life, I realized I wasn’t at all normal. I’m a nomadic adventurer with a passion for the environment. I just needed my work to reflect this.

So I changed it. I combined the skills I had from university, corporate, and nonprofits, put in the effort of learning some new ones, and created a service that helps others to help others. Because helping each other is what the world needs more of.  And I am all about the world.

 

Now I write words for special-to-my-heart businesses that are also looking to change the world for the better. One client or customer a at a time. I help you. I help your business. And I, absolutely love every minute of it.

Where are you located?

The world! But really…I have many passions in life. And this includes leading a nomadic lifestyle and seeing the world. With a background in history and anthropology, I thrive best when surrounded by new and different cultures. From the Atlas Mountains of Morocco to East Texas – and everything in between – immersing myself in new cultures and having unique world adventures is the heartbeat behind my ‘why’ for running my business.

What issues do you advocate for?

I am so passionate about environmental sustainability. We need a massive push for change in so many sectors including food agriculture, fast-fashion, animal farming, rainforest initiatives, ocean trash and so much more. The more we make ourselves and others (cough – big business – cough) accountable, the more our actions will incite the change our planet needs.

What are your goals?

Aside from helping conscious business owners make more noise in the industry (and beyond) using ethical and human-first copy, I usually have a non-copy-related goal I’m working towards in the background.

2021 involved getting certified to teach yoga (check!) and a lot of US National Parks. For 2022, I aim to run an ultra trail marathon in Colorado at the end of summer! We’ll see how that goes 🙂
